Arabia’s deserts are home to an amazing variety of animal life. Hundreds of beautiful and fascinating creatures are hiding amid the sand and rocks in the deserts and mountains, or seeking water in wadis and plantations. Many of these animals are found only in Arabia; some are very rare. This series looks at how animals adapt to life in the harsh Arabian environment and climate, local habitats, threats to animal and conservation issues.
