As educators, we know that the 'summer slide' causes the average student to lose almost one full month of learned material (or 10-15% of instruction). We also know that holiday reading programs are the best remedy for this problem. Students who spend time reading during school breaks return as better readers, with larger vocabularies and improved grammatical knowledge.

Araboh works with schools around the world to create tailored Arabic Reading Programs that will help your students grow, learn and develop. Every program is customized to match the needs of the school and it's curriculum. 

Here is how it works:

Step 1: You assign a program coordinator (usually someone from your library or Arabic department) and decide how many classes will enroll.

Step 2: Araboh works with your coordinator to customize materials and parents letters prior to launching your reading program. An Araboh expert will work with you to select book sets that match the needs and abilities of your students.

Step 3: Before your school holiday, you receive a package from Araboh containing:

• A book set for each student enrolled in your program (as well as extra school copies for when books are 'misplaced'!)
• Reading calendars and timetables for your students
• Student subscriptions to 'Araboh & Jameela Read Along'. Our mascots will join your reading program for the holiday and will email regular updates on where they have reached, discussion topics on the books you selected, and fun motivational reading tips.
• Fun activity sheets that keep students engaged in the books they are reading
• Parents guides that get the whole family involved and ensure a supportive reading environment
• Completion certificates to be awarded at the end of the program
